Dzisiaj chciałbym Wam złożyć najserdeczniejsze życzenia ciepłych, rodzinnych i wesołych Świąt Bożego Narodzenia! Byleby pod choinką prezentów mnóstwo było i dużo unboxingów z nich na blogach przybyło! I niech nie zabraknie czasu na tych modeli składanie i wystrzałowe ich później malowanie! P.S. Dzisiaj miałem wrzucić zdjęcia mojego prezentu ze Świątecznej Wymiany Figurkowej 2016, ale dostałem instrukcję, by nie otwierać paczki przed Pierwszą Gwiazdką i mimo że strasznie mnie korci, otworzę ją zgodnie z poniższą instrukcją =) |
| I bought Ravens, Lamps and this Torches basing kit from HQResin on Hussar 2016. Torches basing kit contains 6 resin Torches in 2 different designs. Torches were packed in a plastic pouch and they were put in individual sprues. There were no damages. I also didn't find any imperfections. Torches are amazingly well sculpted, with great attention to details which are clearly visible. They will be perfect for conversions and additions to 28mm+ scale miniatures and scenery. I plan to use them for my Athel Loren Wood Elves squad in Warheim Fantay Skirmish. My rating 6/6 =) |
Podczas Hussara 2016 kupiłem Kruki, Lampy oraz ten zestaw Torches basing kit od HQResin. Torches basing kit to zestaw zawierający 6 Pochodni odlanych z żywicy w 2 różnych wzorach. Pochodnie zapakowane były w woreczek strunowy i każda została przyczepiona do osobnej wypraski. Nie zauważyłem żadnych zniszczeń. Nie znalazłem również zauważalnych ubytków. Pochodnie są fantastycznie wyrzeźbione i mają bardzo szczegółowe i wyraźne detale. Na pewno sprawdzą się znakomicie do konwersji i waloryzacji figurek i scenerii w skali 28mm+. Planuję wykorzystać je w mojej drużynie Leśnych Elfów z Athel Loren do Warheim Fantasy Skirmish. Moja ocena 6/6=) |

Lampy zapakowane były w woreczek strunowy, ale nie zostały przyczepione do wyprasek, przez co bałem się, że mogą być uszkodzone. Na szczęście nie zauważyłem żadnych zniszczeń. Nie znalazłem również zauważalnych ubytków. Rzeźba lamp jest bardzo szczegółowa i wyraźna. Na pewno sprawdzą się znakomicie do konwersji i waloryzacji figurek i scenerii w skali 28mm+. | I saw this Ravens basing kit from HQResin on Hussar 2016 and quickly bought it. Ravens basing kit contains 6 resin Ravens in 3 different designs. Ravens are packed in a plastic pouch and put in small sprues. Fortunately they were not damaged. However there are a few not too visible imperfections. Ravens have a realy stunning and detailed sculpture. They will be perfect for conversions and additions to 28mm+ scale miniatures and scenery. I plan to use them for my Athel Loren Wood Elves squad in Warheim Fantay Skirmish. My rating 6/6 =) |
Podczas Hussara 2016 zestaw Ravens basing kit od HQResin zdecydowanie przykuł moją uwagę i po prostu musiałem go kupić. Ravens basing kit to zestaw zawierający 6 Kruków odlanych z żywicy w 3 różnych wzorach. Kruki zapakowane są w woreczek strunowy i przyczepione do mini wyprasek. Nie zauważyłem żadnych zniszczeń. Sam zestaw nie obył się jednak bez kilku mało zauważalnych ubytków. Kruki mają naprawdę doskonałą i bardzo szczegółową rzeźbę. Sprawdzą się zatem znakomicie do konwersji i waloryzacji figurek i scenerii w skali 28mm+. Planuję wykorzystać je w mojej drużynie Leśnych Elfów z Athel Loren do Warheim Fantasy Skirmish. Największym zainteresowaniem cieszyła się moja recenzja / poradnik tworzenia efektu śniegu za pomocą farby strukturalnej Citadel Valhallan Blizzard. | This was a really Fantastic Miniature Weekend with Hussar 2016 (the 7th edition of great Polish miniature painting competition in Warsaw). There were more then 120 entries this year and you can find the official results here. Michał Pisarski won the Grand Prix with his large fantasy model "The Warrior", which I put on the first picture in the movie below. Congratulations to the winners and every participant! Watch the video from the event below and see you next year =) |
To był naprawdę Fantastyczny Figurkowy Weekend z Hussarem 2016! Dla niewtajemniczonych była to już 7 edycja tego znakomitego polskiego figurkowego konkursu malarskiego. W tym roku zgłoszonych zostało ponad 120 prac, a oficjalne wyniki możecie zobaczyć tutaj. W tym miejscu wskażę jedynie, że Grand Prix i główna nagroda powędrowały do Michała Pisarskiego, za jego pracę "The Warrior", którą w poniższym filmiku umieściłem jako pierwszą.
Gratuluję zwycięzcom, wyróżnionym osobom oraz wszystkim uczestnikom! Zapraszam do obejrzenia wideo fotorelacji z wydarzenia i do zobaczenia za rok =) |

| The third (after Slop and Tweak) Familiar of Gaunt Summoner of Tzeentch is done. His name is Blot - at first glance he is just a book with legs, but surprisingly he can talk for hours (it's a magical feature because he doesn't have a mouth). Pages of the book are infinite and flip very often. It is said that they contain secrets of the Silver Tower, but it is very hard to find any meaning within pages full of text, illustrations and formulas. What is more, Blot is constantly babbling and it makes it almost imppossible to decode any helpful information... This tiny miniature was a lot of fun to paint but it definitely took me too much time to finish. Now, I'm going to paint the last familar - Pug =) |
Trzeci (po Slopie i Tweaku) z Familiarsów Gaunt Summonera Tzeentcha jest gotowy. Przed Wami Blot - z pozoru to tylko książka z nogami, jednak o dziwo potrafiąca również bez przerwy mówić (cecha magiczna, bo ust oczywiście nie posiada). Strony księgi wydają się nie mieć końca i bardzo często same się przerzucają. Powiada się, że zawiera sekrety Srebrnej Wieży, jednak naprawdę ciężko jest znaleźć sens wśród nieprzebranych tekstów, ilustracji i wzorów. Co więcej, Blot nieustannie babla, sprawiając, że odszyfrowanie pomocnych informacji staje się niemal niemożliwe...
Ta malutka figurka sprawiła mi sporo frajdy przy malowaniu, ale zabrała też zdecydowanie zbyt wiele czasu. Teraz zabieram się za ostatniego familiarsa - Puga =) |
| I'm preparing for Warheim Fantasy Skirmish tournament in January and that's why I had to add a hero to my Athel Loren Wood Elves squad - the Highborn. Choosing the right miniature wasn't hard because I wanted to buy it for quite a while. In my opinion, the Higborn Elf wielding Greatsword is one of the best miniatures ever produced by Games Workshop. Therefore it's no surprise that despite the death of the Old World there is still a place for him in Age of Sigmar Wanderers and Sylvaneth army as the Waystrider. The set consists of the character and a separate greatsword - everything in one sprue and in one small blister. There is also a 20x20 mm base inside. The Noble is made of finecast and he has some visible damaged elements. Fortunately the sword is straight but I managed to break it... He require much work with removing excessive finecast. The details are very clear and much better than those I once saw on the metal version. What is more, the Waystrider has a "built-in" scenic base with a spite so there is no reason to convert him. My rating (even though the Noble is made of failcast): 5/6, but we will see how my painting goes =) Edit: You can see the finished Highborn here and painting his NMM sword tutorial here. |
Ponieważ przygotowuję się do styczniowego turnieju Warheim Fantasy Skirmish, musiałem uzupełnić moją drużynę Leśnych Elfów z Athel Loren o postać bohatera - Szlachcica. Wybór reprezentującej go figurki mógł być tylko jeden, gdyż od bardzo dawna przymierzałem się do jej kupna. Szlachetnie urodzony Elf dzierżący dwuręczny miecz to moim zdaniem jedna z najlepszych figurek Games Workshopu. Nic więc dziwnego, że mimo destrukcji Starego Świata, w Age of Sigmar również znalazło się dla niego miejsce, jako Kroczącego Ścieżkami do armii Wędrowców i Sylvaneth. Zestaw składa się z postaci i osobnego dwuręcznego miecza, a całość mieści się na jednej wyprasce w małym blisterze. W zestawie znajduje się także podstawka 20x20 mm. Szlachcic został wykonany z finecastu i niektóre z elementów posiadają widoczne uszkodzenia. Na szczęście miecz jest prosty, ale zdążył się przy obróbce ułamać... Nadlewki i łączenia wymagają sporo roboty. Detale są jednak wyraźne i znacznie lepsze niż na metalowej wersji, którą miałem kiedyś okazję mieć w dłoni. Dodatkowo, Waystrider ma "wbudowaną" sceniczną podstawkę, na której znajdziemy także leśne licho, więc nie ma potrzeby dokonywania na nim jakichkolwiek konwersji. Moja ocena (pomimo failcastu): 5/6, ale zobaczymy jak mi się go będzie malowało =) Edycja: Pomalowanego Szlachcica możecie obejrzeć tutaj, a poradnik malowania jego NMM miecza tutaj. |

bought Citadel texture Valhallan Blizzard during Armies on Parade 2016
(on Saturday) and tried it as soon as I got back home. I was very lucky to
have a perfect miniature to show the snow effect - Chaos Space Marines
Cultist of Tzeentch from Warhammer 40k Dark Vengeance set. I painted it some time
ago (here), but I still thought it wasn't finished - until now =) I hope
that you like the results! Below is a short review of this new Games

strukturalną Valhallan Blizzard od Citadel kupiłem podczas Armies on Parade 2016 (w sobotę) i wypróbowałem od razu po powrocie do domu. Traf
chciał, że miałem pod ręką idealną figurkę do zaprezentowania na niej
efektu śniegu - Kultystę Tzeentcha Kosmicznych Marines Chaosu z zestawu Mroczna Zemsta do Warhammera 40k, którą
pomalowałem już dość dawno (tutaj), a która ciągle wydawała mi się
niedokończona. Mam nadzieję, że podoba Wam się efekt końcowy! Zapraszam poniżej do krótkiej recenzji nowości od Games Workshop oraz do obejrzenia filmiku, na którym przedstawiam użycie Valhallan Blizzard. P.S. | The second (after Slop) Familiar of Gaunt Summoner of Tzeentch is done. His name is Tweak - a birdlike denizen of the Silver Tower, who thinks that he is the Greater Daemon of Tzeentch. He is also a megalomaniac and makes very evil and devious schemes. What's more, he likes to disclose those plans to anyone who would listen, willingly or not. Tweak may not be the new Lord of Change incarnation, but he wears his feathers proudly. The Great Summoner has sent him on a mission - there is power in those "balls" he holds... Careful TFH blog readers will definitely discover what these "balls" are for =) More photos below. |
Drugi (po Slopie) z Familiarsów Gaunt Summonera Tzeentcha jest gotowy. Przed Wami Tweak - ptakopodobny mieszkaniec Srebrnej Wieży, który uważa, że jest Wielkim Demonem Tzeentcha. Jest przy tym niesamowitym megalomanem i cały czas coś knuje. Co ciekawe, z chęcią opowiada o swych tajnych planach, nie ważne czy ktoś chce go słuchać.
Tweak może i nie jest wcieleniem Pana Zmiany, jednak swe pióra nosi nie od parady. Wielki Przywoływacz zlecił mu bowiem ważne zadanie - w przyniesionych przez Pierzastego Tweaka "kulkach" tkwi moc... Uważni czytelnicy bloga TFH z pewnością odkryją do czego te "kulki" mogą służyć =) Więcej zdjęć poniżej. |

| The first Familiar of Gaunt Summoner of Tzeentch is done. His name is Slop and he is the most annoying denizen of the Silver Tower. He can appear out of nowhere and stinks. His moronic wriggling and high-pitched gibbering can drive anybody mad... This fishbeast is a very small miniature, but it was a pleasure to paint it. I hope you like the water effect and his fish eyes =) Below is a size comparison. |
Pierwszy z Familiarsów Gaunt Summonera Tzeentcha jest gotowy. Przed Wami Slop - najbardziej nieznośny z mieszkańców Srebrnej Wieży. Potrafi pojawić się znikąd i strasznie cuchnie, a jego idiotyczne szamotanie się i piskliwy bełkot potrafią doprowadzić do szału...
Ta rybo-bestia to bardzo mała figurka, ale o dziwo całkiem przyjemnie się ją maluje. Jestem bardzo zadowolony z tego jak wyszedł efekt wody i rybie oczy - mam nadzieję, że Wam również się podoba =) Poniżej porównanie wielkości. |

| Just finished painting Gaunt Summoner of Tzeentch! This a fantastic miniature that stands out in both Warhammer and Age of Sigmar and let me use some new painting techniques.
His base is only temporary (you can find it here) because I want to make a very characteristic Warhammer Quest: Silver Tower base. Tell me what you think =) More pictures below. |
Wreszcie skończyłem malować Gaunt Summoner Tzeentcha! To naprawdę fantastyczna figurka, wspaniale wpisująca się zarówno w świat Warhammera, jak i Age of Sigmar, a do tego pozwoliła mi wykorzystać kilka nowych malarskich technik. Na razie jest na tymczasowej podstawce (możecie ją zobaczyć tutaj), bo chcę dla niego zrobić bardzo charakterystyczną podstawkę z Warhammer Quest Silver Tower. Dajcie znać co o nim sądzicie =)
